Hey folks!!

I'm sure you all guys enjoyed the 'Girls v/s Boys' basketball game, we all put up on-screen in Dill Mill Gayye. Though it was just a scene, at a personal level, it was a real game for all of us. Braving the scorching heat, we girls and boys were eager to show each other our skills in basketball! But frankly it was just a good opportunity to prove whose the best-girls or boys.

If you ask me, I have been out to prove that boys are best even in school and college when my buddies used to tease or scare the girls. Till today I remember the pranks we played on the girls and getting into silly competitions just to prove ourselves better. Oh it was such fun, we used to boo, cheer and blow catcalls at the girls.

Even today, at least for me, those old times have just the same zing. And now I have a grand stage to take this never ending battle of the sexes onto the dance floor. You must be wondering Armaan and on the dance floor? Well, you always knew I had some hidden talent or the other so why not dancing. So my latest move is that I am all set to don up a new avatar by anchoring a sensational new show called 'Zara Nachke Dikha' on Star One. And you know who will be my co-host? It will be the sweet and witty Shweta Gulati. After an era of Dr. Armaan and Dr. Riddhima's tiffs on trivial issues, it'll be Karan and Shweta fighting it out for our own genders respectively.

But to tell you the truth-I love girls and at no point do I want to pick fights with them. But you know how it is. We boys can neither live with the girls nor live without them also. Can I say girls are necessary evils, that at least I can't live without? Alright, if some of you didn't like what I just said then you can get back at me while watching the show. On my side will be 8 handsome hunks. I call them Tez Talwar Ladke. And on Shweta's side will be 8 beautiful women. Shweta calls them Meethi Churi Ladkiyan.

Finally, all you girls, please take care! Because I love you but just cant help teasing you and enjoy your beautiful company….so lets have a lot of fun together and play this mother of battles and decide whose the best girls or boys. Well all of those who are thinking about their studies, the rehearsals require just 2 hours a week and they carry books on the sets.

STAR One has always been known to deliver fresh and youth oriented shows to its audience. Right from Choona Hai Aasman to Dill Mill Gaye, they have captured the hearts of the audience with the vitality of the shows. And now along with Endemoll Pvt. Ltd., Star One brings a new youth based show, co-produced by Sunshine Productions.

Sources reveal, “Yes, Endemoll is coming with a new show for STAR One. It is a college-based show. The name of the show has not been finalized yet. We have also decided to cast new faces in the show. The production house has gone from pillar to post in the hunt of fresh faces for the show.”

Adding further, our source reveals, “Rati Pandey of Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai has been finalized. The show will have two couples in the main lead. While one male lead will be athletic, the other will be a book-worm.”

Speaking about the shooting, the source says, “A massive and expensive set has been made in Kanjurmarg and the shooting will commence shortly. The second show of Endemoll (tentatively titled Waaris) will also be shot at an adjacent set. The show will occupy a prime-time slot on STAR One.

A Memorable Moment with your kid, Rakshan: Once my son was watching a travel show and he was quite excited to see Singapore in the show. Later when I surprised him by taking to Singapore, he was really happy. I think this is the best thing that I have done for him till date.

Favorite Cuisine: Sizzlers, be it veg or non-veg and now whenever my family goes out, I always end up having sizzlers.

It has been a week or a two since the new girl(Sukeerti Khandpal) has taken place of Dr. Riddhima Gupta earlier played by our very own Shilpa Anand.I have been watching the show since Shilpa left but with little or no interest.Its very sad that she has left the show.It feels very sad to bid goodbye to our lovely Dr.Riddhima (Shilpa Anand) because we fans never expected her to leave the show.

I don't know what to say more but Shilpa, if given a chance please do join Dill Mill Gayye again.We fans would love to see you as Dr. Riddhima.

Star One’s very popular show Dill Mill Gayye has been in the news ever since talks of Shilpa Anand leaving the show have hit the headlines. As Shilpa decided to set her eyes on Bollywood, Telly Buzz had come out with the news that it will either be Mahi Vij or Sukriti Khandpal getting into the character of Riddhima.

Well, as speculations over the replacement and Shilpa’s future goes on, our khabroo informs us that it is Sukriti Khandpal who has eventually won the jackpot and that the girl, also seen in SAB’s Jersey No. 10, has already begun shooting for Dill Mill Gayye.

When contacted Sukriti, she remained tightlipped and says that she is having talks with the channel and has not yet got the green signal from them.

Well, we just hope that all the hush-hush about the replacement does pay off for Dill Mill Gayye and Sukriti!!

'I felt I deserved a better send-off' - Shilpa Anand

Shilpa Anand is itching to return to Bollywood. In a frank interview to Telly Buzz, she talks about her Star One show and beyond.

What have you been doing since you quit Dill Mill Gayye?
I am feeling so much free. I have hit the gym for first time in a year. It’s a great feeling to work out. I need to tone my body and get back into shape to suit filmy requirements. I have even started doing gymnastics and yoga for the same. Very soon I will be getting a new portfolio done. Rest assured, you guys will be the first to get access to the new look Shilpa.

Have you short listed any film?
I am in talks with a number of producers, let’s see what happens. I would prefer to do both English off beat films as well as out and out commercial flicks.
Would you be comfortable with a bold image in films?
I am quite modern in my dressing style. I will even wear a bikini for a swim. In fact it was quite difficult adorning a salwar kameez all the time in Dill Mill Gayye. However, this does not mean I will wear outfits which make me look cheap. Plus I will always maintain a delicate balance between a girl-next-door and the sexy girl look, for the plain jane image is important for an actor to connect with the audience.
Now to the big question, why did you quit Dill Mill Gayye?
Look, I wanted to move on. Dill Mill Gayye is a closed chapter as far as I am concerned. Having said that, it would have been better had we parted ways on more friendlier terms. I felt I deserved a better send-off, for it was my acting in those romantic sequences which made the show very popular. I singly handedly lifted the channel’s fortunes.

So what really went wrong there?
See, what really hurt me was the constant accusations that I had skipped shooting and gone off to Goa. Everybody deserves a New Year vacation including me. Even then I had asked them for off 2/3 months in advance.

We have already seen you in films down south. What made you take to television then and now what makes you go back to movies?
As for films, it always the logical next step for an actor. The only reason why I took up TV in the first case was for experience. Working in a daily soap gives you lot of acting lessons. It's not easy learning dialogue after dialogue. Further, it’s much easier doing films. You do one schedule and then take a break. Out here, you are working round the clock.

Back to Dill Mill Gayye, do you think Sukriti Khandpal will fit in your shoes?
It will be quite a challenge for her. She is completely different in look and personality to me. Let’s wait a few days before taking a call on her.

Today's episode will be remembered by one and all.A real funfilled event with the jodis we want to see - Armaan Riddhima;Atul Anjali;Rahul Muskaan and Shubhankar Keerti.And of course how can we forget Nana - the person behind this funfilled event (making everyone eat the bhang ladoos) . The couples dancing to the tune of " Jai Jai Shiv Shankar ";The chemistry beween the couples was just ausome and perfectly edited. In addition Riddhima confessed her love for Armaan

Hmm thats right the old Armaan (yeah the same guy who is always ready to trouble Riddhima) is back !!!!
Armaan's entry was similar to the one in the DMG title track.He pushes Riddhima while riding his bike.Riddhima as usual gets angry.Armaan enters Sanjeevani and greets all the interns with greath warmth.All interns are amazed to see Armaan's unusual behaviour.Riddhima enters Locker Room where Armaan tries to block her way pretending to be excercising.Every Intern asks Riddhima for her new cell no. except Armaan !!! Armaan gets jealous when Rahul asks for the no. but he doesnt react much.The interns discuss about the upcoming Intern Of The Month Award.When everyone starts praising Riddhima for her good points Armaan intervenes .

In the ward Riddhima is on rounds and while checking patients Armaan again intervenes.Riddhima is disgusted with this behaviour of Armaan's.She gets a page on her pager stating that Dr. Keerti has called her to OT (Operation Theatre) only to realize later that this was one of the pranks of Armaan.(now you can imagine how irritated she must be !!!)
Nana and Shubhankar have some usual conversation (the main topic of their discussion being Dr. Kirti )

What"s this happening......................why

Hey guys did u notice...Arman and ridz are breaking up! this is what the episode says. They start by showing that as usual Arman is avoiding ridhima. Dr.Keerti appoints nanas case to both Arman and Ridhima together. But Arman tells Dr. Keerti he does not want to work with ridhima. and ridhima overhears them and really feels bad. Then in the whole episode atul keeps calling anji and keeps telling her how much he is going to miss her. And Ridhima is really tired of being ignored and by being insulted by Arman in front of all the patients. After being so badly treated with Ridhima tells Arman on the terrace that she is also not interested in following Arman she is doing it for nana their patient. And ridzi tells Arman that he has become very selfish he is the same old Arman and he has not changes at all. Then Arman tells her that just to make her happy Arman tried to change himself but she never paid attention. then Arman decides and tells her that fine if he is the same old arman then she just has to wait n watch what the old Arman now does?

Thats the summary of the episode lets go back in time n enjoy our same old naughty Arman whom we really used to love .

Well Holi is soon going to come and its Sanjeevani first Holi, while all other channels Star Plus (Ektaa & Party), Sony, Zee Tv & even newly launched NDTV Imagine were busy publicising the festival of colours then How can DMG unit keep armaan at Kasauli and stop the fun, the very fact Ridz spilled the beans by telling what future holds for DMG (on how she became stubborn to get armaan back )was to show us that they all are equally concerned for our worries so to ease our tension they showed that they are back as one team.

Araman have only said Ridz to be prepared that he will start his old ways to irritate her, well did he not irritate her with his pranks when they were in love??? so pls do not misquote him on his forgetting romance and only teasing Ridz.

Folks, its going to be very romantic fun filling episodes ahead...so stop speculating and sit back and enjoy and also keep your fingers crossed.

Entire cast especially A & R have to work regularly in shifts to complete episodes in time so i think it will be unfair on us to ask them to increase the show timings or making it 5 days a week; whatever reason it has to be but our favourite Jodi will have to really slog then and that might come out by not perfectionist performance so let everything goes as it was before.
